Meet Dr. Nicholas Luke
My journey to become a pediatric dentist started with coaching middle school football while I was at the University of Northern Iowa. I truly loved that experience and was so proud of my team. After this I knew I wanted to work with children. After getting accepted to dental school at the University of Iowa, I found myself sitting in orientation learning about the different dental specialties. That’s when it clicked. I knew I was going to pursue pediatric dentistry. So, during dental school, I applied to various pediatric dental residencies and was accepted to Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. I did everything I could to make my dream a reality and in 2018 I earned my Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry!
My passion for pediatric dentistry comes from a deep desire to serve and make a difference in my community. I grew up in a very small, rural town and learned from a young age that you should always give back to your community. As a pediatric dentist, I get to do just that. I genuinely love coming to the office and seeing kids from all the communities that we serve. I try to make an impact on their lives by providing a friendly, fun, and entertaining atmosphere while providing the best care possible.
My passion for pediatric dentistry is only outdone by the love I have for my family. I have a beautiful wife, Sara, who I met while we were in dental school. She makes all things in life worth doing. We have a son, Julien, who is the spitting image of his dad, but has his mother’s eyes and we are expecting a daughter, Lennox, in July of 2022! We have two dogs and three cats, so it’s a full house! In our free time we like to golf, hunt, read, ski, go to the movies, and spend time with family and friends.
