Meet Dr. Amanda Spitz

It was during my pediatric rotation in dental school that I quickly felt “at home”. Building relationships and helping children and their families with their oral health needs brought me tremendous joy and satisfaction. It was then that I decided to further my education and specialize in pediatric dentistry. Providing dental care to children can be challenging, but it is also very rewarding to help them through their dental experiences, watch them grow and gain confidence in the dental setting, and learn to value their oral health from a very young age.

I founded Smiles in Motion in 2008. I built and opened the doors to our first office in Chippewa Falls, WI in 2009 with a vision to provide exceptional experiences with the highest quality of care possible in amazing environments. I have created warm and fun child-centered dental clinics throughout the Chippewa and St. Croix Valley that I hope will inspire children and their families and make them feel at ease. Our team is committed to providing high quality and compassionate dental care to all the communities we serve.

I feel very honored to work with such talented and committed pediatric dentists and team members. We have the absolute greatest people who work at Smiles in Motion! When I’m with patients, I love interacting with children of all ages; they are truly amazing and make my heart full.

I grew up in northwest Wisconsin in the towns of Turtle Lake and Barron. My husband, Ross, and I have been residents of Chippewa Falls since August 2005. We are blessed to have two wonderful daughters. When we have free time, it is spent with our children, closest friends, and family. We enjoy all things outdoors. Our daughters are active in many sports and music. We have spent countless weekends over the years traveling to and camping out at swim meets.
