Great River Orthodontics Welcomes Dr. Klifford Kapus

Dear Patients of Great River Orthodontics,

I am excited that we will soon meet in person as you attend your next orthodontic care appointment at Great River Orthodontics. On October 17th I began my tenure as your orthodontist, and I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you in achieving and maintaining a healthy, great-looking smile.

I’m grateful to Dr. Jacqueline Lin and Dr. Kimsey Anderson, the orthodontists who preceded me, for all they have done to plan and support your care to this point. Both have made every effort to ensure that the transition of care would be accomplished as smoothly as possible, and I am confident you’ll feel they were successful in that effort. All scheduled appointments will proceed as planned and we expect that no time will be lost in your treatment progress as I transition in to support your care.

Let me share a little bit about myself to help us get to know each other. I began my career working in molecular biology after earning a degree in genetics from UC Davis in California. While I love the pure pursuit of science, I wasn’t working with people as much as I wanted and decided that dentistry and specializing in orthodontics would allow me to interact with the people in my community in a socially rewarding way that directly improved the quality of their lives. Because I have an artistic side to complement my love of science, orthodontics is the perfect fit. I love designing treatment plans that give my patients both a great bite and a beautiful smile.

My family and I love to travel, and we’ve visited most states in the US, as well as many of our amazing National Parks. I love camping, hiking, nature, and the outdoors in general. Some of my other interests include weightlifting, nutrition, and physical fitness.

Having traveled so much, we feel well qualified in saying we’re excited to be moving to such a beautiful part of the country. I’m excited to be your orthodontist, but we’re also looking forward to being your friends and neighbors. I’ll see you at the office very soon, and I’m sure we’ll bump into you at the grocery store, at the gym, or out hiking the bluffs before too long.

Yours sincerely,

Dr. Klifford Kapus
